Descriptive Narrative:
The educational goals of of this presentation are to strengthen clinicians' clinical judgment, diagnostic precision, and ethical decision making when working with perinatal loss. The training is designed to improve clinicians' ability to accurately assess perinatal loss when it presents as depression, anxiety, trauma related symptoms, or relational distress, and to differentiate normative grief from mood and trauma related disorders. The presentation supports professional growth by enhancing ethical assessment practices, appropriate documentation, and treatment planning grounded in trauma informed and culturally responsive care, thereby reducing the risk of misdiagnosis, minimization, and unintended harm in clinical practice.
