Scents and Scents-Ability : Using Essential Oils in Clinical Practice
Are you looking for a holistic way to positively impact the welI-being of your clients? This presentation will introduce you to the use of essential oils to promote emotional well-being. You will learn which oils to use, why essential oils actually DO help people to improve their well-being, and how you can use them to help your clients to feel better naturally. This presentation will discuss the use of essential oils and how using essential oils can provide clinicians with an additional tool to help clients to heal.
Objectives:
1. Participants will learn how essential oils affect the brain and emotional well-being.
2. Participants will learn which oils to use for emotional well-being.
3. Participants will learn how to use essential oils safely.
4. Participants will learn how to incorporate the use of essential oils in clinical practice.
Bio:
Lisa Tobler is a Marriage and Family Therapist-Intern and an Essential Oils Educator. Lisa has been working in the field of mental health for over 20 years. Lisa currently works with teens, adults and couples, and specializes in helping individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and trauma. She has completed training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Trauma Focused CBT {TFCBT}, and Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Trauma in Schools {CB/TS}. Lisa has been an online college instructor for nearly 12 years.
